Key Objectives

Enhancing Cross-Sector and Public-Private Collaboration: It will seek to build strategic alliances between financial actors, policymakers, businesses, and local communities to drive nature-positive impact.

Mobilize Capital for Nature-Positive Investments: The Summit will aim to identify and unlock financing opportunities that accelerate private and public investment in natural capital across Africa, including showcasing business models, case studies, and investment opportunities that align investment opportunities with nature-positive outcomes.

Build Momentum Around Advancing Finance for a Thriving African Bioeconomy: As a knowledge partner under South Africa’s G20 Presidency, we will explore and scale bioeconomy innovations through strategic discussions and partnerships aligned with the priorities of the G20 Initiative on Bioeconomy (GIB). Our focus will be on strengthening Policy Environments, mobilising Investment Pipelines, advancing Data & Metrics, and enhancing Capacity Building to support inclusive, sustainable, and climate-resilient growth across the bioeconomy.
